Hours of Operation during the pool season:
Daily:

Note: CLOSED when Avon Lake schools are in session or during periods of inclement weather or mechanical failure.
Inclement weather, air temperatures below 69 degrees Fahrenheit, mechanical failures, or unexpected absence of a lifeguard are reasons the pool could close for a day or partial day. Have fun, be safe, and follow the rules. CLICK HERE for the POOL RULES.
A pool pass is required to use the pool area and swimming pool. Each residence received one if the residence owner(s) was current on their applicable association fees. A residential pool pass contains a unique authorization number on the back and is valid indefinitely as long as the residence owner's association fees remain in good standing and members of the residence don't commit repeated or serious pool rule violations. No annual stickers are required. Residents may legibly sign in guests with a valid pool pass per guidelines contained in the POOL RULES. Each authorized residence has been issued one pool pass to be shared by members of the residence. The pool pass should be left in the residence when moving out. New residents who move in should contact their designated home or condo owners' association if they do not find a pool pass in their residence upon moving in.
To replace a lost or damaged pool pass:
Fill in the email form located at the bottom of the Contact page (click "Contact" tab above) and indicate in the "Message" box that you lost or damaged your pool pass and be sure to indicate your condo or home address then click "Send." Then, mail a $25 check or money order (payable to: The Landings Racquet & Swim Club) to:
The Landings Racquet and Swim Club, Inc.
c/o Lawrence Community Management Group
1507 Lear Industrial Parkway, Suite 1
Avon, Ohio 44011
(440) 937-2800
Be sure to indicate "Pool Pass" on the Memo line of the check. (Do not pay in cash.) After your check is processed, a new pool pass with a new authorization number will be issued and mailed to you. If you moved into your residence and the previous owner (or landlord) did not leave the pool pass, contact your designated Board of Trustees representative or a member of your condo association or HOA management board and they will process your pool pass replacement.
If you have been reissued a new pool pass, be sure to destroy the old one should you find it at a later date--it will no longer be valid for use at the pool.
When The Landings pool is open, come enjoy a relaxing or exhilerating swim on a hot summer day in our large outdoor pool! A baby pool is also provided for toddlers and babies. The large pool ranges from 3 to 8.5 feet in depth and the baby pool ranges from a few inches to about 1 1/2 feet in depth.
Parking: Park in the designated areas marked in yellow in the image below (CLICK image to open for better view). If the clubhouse is being rented, park in the parking lots adjacent to the back of the Landings Shopping Plaza.
Hastings Water Works is contracted out to operate, maintain, and monitor the pool. A lifeguard is provided for continuous safety, except in the baby pool where parents are required to serve as guardians for their own children.
There will be occasions when the Landings Racquet & Swim Club Board of Trustees allows The Landings pool to be open during normal pool hours without a lifeguard on duty in the event Hastings Water Works is unable to provide a lifeguard. During these occasions, residents and guests will still be required to sign in with an authorized pool pass in their possession and will swim at their own risk. Pool and safety rules will remain valid, children should not use the pool without adult supervision, and adults should not swim alone. During a hazardous weather situation, swimmers will depart the swimming pool and not re-enter until at least 30 minutes have lapsed since the last sign of thunder or lightning. All activity in the pool area is video recorded and anyone identified violating rules or damaging property will be subject to revocation of pool privileges and/or criminal prosecution. If it becomes necessary, a member of the Board of Trustees is authorized to enforce pool and safety rules and to verbally order rules violators or unauthorized personnel off of Landings Racquet & Swim Club property. (To verify the identity of a Trustee, go to the homepage and click on the “Board of Trustees” link. Then click on a Trustee’s name and a digital credential with a photo will appear.) Technicians will still arrive to set up, service, maintain, and close the pool. During an emergency, call 911. The address of The Landings pool is 425 Avon Belden Road in Avon Lake. (Stay on the line until emergency services people arrive on scene.)
